Orange County Virginia School Systems

Orange County Virginia's school system includes five elementary schools, 2 middle schools and a high school. Orange County also has one private school for grades pre K through 8th grade; Grymes Memorial School. Germanna Community College makes it's home in Eastern Orange County on the Route 3 corridor.

The school system represents more than 70% of Orange County's annual budget. The school administration is headed by a superintendant, hired by the School Board. Principals are also hired by the School Board. Each county voting district has one representative to the School Board, which meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Gordon Building in Orange. The representatives are:
