Orange County's Park and Recreations department coordinates and runs a variety of programs for county residents. The office is located in the Sedwick building
at 146 Madison Rd., Suite 205, in the town of Orange.

The recreation department oversees the operation of the Dix Memorial Pool in Gordonsville, the parks in each district of the county, before and after school daycare programs, and the Hornets Sports Center at the Orange County High School.

Most youth recreation programs are handled through the following groups outside of the recreation department.
