Orange County Virginia is located 75 miles from Washington, DC, 70 miles from Richmond, and 25 miles from Charlottesville. Interstates I-95 and I-64 are within a 30 minute drive. The county has two small airports and CSX and Norfolk-Southern rail service. The centralized location and plentiful work force has enabled Orange County to build a solid industrial base to compliment the long-standing agricultural base.

Economic Development Office

The office is located in the town of Orange at 105 East Main Street. Office hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Chamber of Commerce

The chamber works to promote the business community within the county. It also provides information to prospective county businesses and residents.

The chamber's office is located on the second floor of the Bank of America building at 103 N. Madison Rd. (PO Box 146) in the town of Orange. Office hours are 9 am to 2pm Monday through Friday.

Orange Downtown Alliance

The ODA works to create and promote a healthy, attractive downtown environment, while maintaining the historic character and integrity of downtown Orange. The office is located at 130 West Main Street in the town or Orange. Hourse are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
