Orange County Commissioner of Revenue


The Orange County Commissioner of Revenue is responsible for the assessment of all real estate, personal property and public service corporation taxes. The Commissioner's office responsibilities also include; mailing personal property returns, preparing vehicle assessments for the treasurers office, processing Virginia State Income taxes, and administering the county's land use program.

The commissioner is a constitutional officer, elected every four years by the citizens of Orange County. The office is located on the first floor of the Gordon Building on Main Street in the town of Orange.
